At BOP RV we’re committted to making sure that buying your new 5th wheel is a friendly and easy experience. Here’s what some of our customers have said about us.
My husband Paul and myself Lyn have been talking about getting a RV for some years now. Paul is a upholsterer, and I owned a cafe. We live in a beautiful piece of paradise in Wanaka. Last year we decided we had done enough talking and thought it was time to start searching for our RV.
We googled, we went on TradeMe, we read RV magazines, but could not really find what we wanted. (keeping in mind we were buying a RV for permanent living.) We had spoke to lots of people that had large caravans and big buses. Then a friend of ours loaned us a NZMC magazine. While going through it we noticed an ad for BOP RV. We looked up their website and thought YES now we are getting somewhere. We looked and talked for another month or so then made the phone call. Nick Blair was our man whom from the first call was the friendliest and most helpful person we had come across. Nick sent us more info and answered all our questions (of which there were many) Then Nick informed us that he was getting some RV’s in and we made a date to fly up and have a look.
In November we flew to Tauranga – first time in the North Island for me, met up with Nick and from then on the journey started. By the end of that day we had ordered our Keystone Cougar High Country 327. Nick gave us a time of when he hoped it would be in NZ, and how long it would take to change all the wiring and things that needed to be done. We told Nick there was really no hurry, and to spend some time over Xmas with his family. But once these guys get the RV’s they just seem to go for it. Throughout the whole time Nick rung us and kept us in the loop about all that was happening. From the time we bought our RV we started searching for something to tow it with, oh my gosh that was the hardest, and poor Nick got phone call after phone call. Then we get a call from Nick to say their job was almost complete and the RV was ready to be picked up.
Panic stations! We still had nothing to tow it with, so onto TradeMe and god forbid there were two vehicles we thought would be OK. Another call to Nick, he looked into both of them, rang us back and gave us the the thumbs up and said they both tick all the boxes. I rang and it turned out that the owner of the one we wanted (a fab GMC) lived in Tauranga. He picked us up from the airport, we bought the vehicle and then of to Nick to start getting all complied. We met Nick’s dad John whom was just as friendly and lovely as his son (good upbringing John). From then on the boys put our RV on a site for us, they organised everything and Paul and I just chilled out for a week while Nick and John worked their butts off getting the truck and RV complied. Seriously cannot say enough about the Blair family (we met them all). They are the most generous, kindest people we could have hoped to deal with. They definitely went far and beyond to help us and get us into our amazing home, which is now parked at The Wanaka Outlet Park.
Thank you Blair family, we are loving our lifestyle and it’s all thanks to you guys. We feel we have made friends for life.

I purchased my 5th wheeler last year from Nick and Amy at BOP RV and I think it is fantastic. It is my home and with all the luxuries it has, it is a pleasure – oh and I love the heating system. I recommend anyone looking for a quality unit then go to BOP RV as that is what they sell and their service is excellent.

In August 2014 I purchased my 9 metre Keystone 5th wheeler from the Blair family at BOPRV. Although it was mainly Nick with whom I dealt, the whole team impressed me with their easy, open and amiable “country” manner, and it was obvious to me that, by their lack of pushiness and pressure, they had not been in a “sales” environment before and I liked that. Nick’s knowledge of his products is first class, and on the frequent occasions I have rung him to ask (probably) dumb questions he has been extremely obliging. So to anyone looking for a quality 5th wheeler, and great back-up service, this old fella can absolutely highly recommend the team at BOP RV.

I recently purchased a Keystone Bullet 5th wheeler from BOP RV. I have found the service from Nick and John to be excellent. They set me up in a campground nearby for my first night so they could be on hand as I learnt the ropes and telling me not to hesitate to ring. I recommend this company to anyone thinking of buying a 5th wheeler as the friendly, helpful service is impeccable.

We have found the team at BOP RV friendly, very obliging, and have gone out of their way to accommodate our needs. We are looking forward to doing many miles in our new 5th wheel. Many thanks, been great dealing with you all.

I started looking for a new home for my husband and I in September last year, and decided that I did not want land anymore, lawn mowing, gardens, rates… the list goes on and on. I read about a lady in Auckland who had sold up her house, bought a very large caravan and moved to a Motor camp. “WOW” I thought, that sounds like me – what fun just being able to up and go whenever and wherever the fancy takes you. That started me on quest to find something that I could live in comfortably but also still have plenty of room for having friends over for dinner.
I started on TradeMe at the caravan section and then thought about the 5th wheels (as always loved them when living in the USA) lo and behold there were quite a few listed and all at different prices and sizes. I picked out about 6 to look at on the first weekend in Tauranga and of course BOP RV was first on the list. Nick was amazing, took me through everything that they had on the lot plus the caravans so that I had a good comparison. I finally made my decision on the 2012 Keystone Cougar 5th wheel and have not been disappointed. Nick and John could not do enough for me. They put me up in the motor camp to try it out for the weekend then just before Christmas towed it over to Tarankai for me. I have now lived in it for just 4 months, towed it on the “Forgotten Highway” plus around locally – it is amazing to tow and live in.
To put it mildly “I LOVE MY HOME” and would thoroughly recommend BOP RV to anyone that is wanting to buy a new caravan or 5th wheel. No question is too little or big for them to answer. If we ever decided to trade up, we certainly would be visiting BOP RV once again to purchase. Thanks guys for all the fun that this 5th wheel is giving us.

“We are rapt with our new Cougar, which we got for living quarters on our block of land. Our biggest problem is that we are too comfortable, and don’t want to go to do any work! Peter especially loves his recliner chair. Thank you to BOP RV.”
